Caramel Apple Old Fashioned Recipe (Zero Proof)

Is this Caramel Apple Old Fashioned a drink or a dessert? Yes. And you are going to go bananas for it.

Treat yourself to this *slightly* naughty treat on a cold day (or night). You’ll feel like your mouth went to heaven.

1 part Apple Cider

1 part Miss Mary’s Old Fashioned Mix

Whipped Topping

Caramel Sauce (Try this one from Sally’s Baking Addiction)

Cinnamon & Nutmeg

This dessert drink is so easy to make, it hardly needs instructions. Mr. Google likes it when we include them, however, so here we go…

If you plan to DIY your caramel sauce, start with that. You’ll want to give it your full attention so you don’t burn the sugar.

Add a 1/2 cup of Apple Cider for every serving you want to make to a saucepan. Heat on the stove on medium until it reaches a boil, then turn down to low.  Add the same amount of Miss Mary’s Old Fashioned Mix to your hot cider and heat through.

Set out your mugs (We love these from World Market ❤) and fill, leaving about an inch.

Add whipped topping to each mug – use a little or a lot. Whipped topping can be cream or non-dairy.

Drizzle with caramel and add a dash of cinnamon and nutmeg to the top.

PRO TIP: Light a fire, grab your softest throw blanket, and cuddle up on the sofa. There may be a nap in your future.
